Get out your brooms, and check under your kid’s bed, because it’s Clean Up Your Room Day! If anyone gives you backtalk about pitching in, let them know it’s their obligation to celebrate with you (as long as they clean up after themselves). I’d consider myself messy, but not dirty. I like to shove things into piles if they don’t have a home, and that eventually becomes what we call the “trail mix basket” in the house. My brother’s family keeps things amazingly minimalist and tidy, which impresses the heck out of me.
